Take action in your community
When civilians are constantly dying and basic needs are cut off, silence and neutrality is still a choice. Community action doesn’t require being an “expert”, it requires showing up consistently, staying informed with verifiable facts, and refusing to let suffering become just TV static noise.
1) Speak up (locally, calmly, consistently)
- Call or email your representatives and ask for specific actions (humanitarian access, civilian protections, enforcement of international law, etc).
- Show up to town halls, city council meetings, campus forums, and community boards. Ask clear questions.
- Protest. No harassment, no threats, no targeting people for identity. Protect your community while you advocate for others.
2) Share responsibly
- Verify before reposting (date, location, original source, and whether a video/image is recycled or even AI generated).
- Prefer primary sources and credible outlets; correct mistakes publicly when it happens.
- Center civilians. Don’t let “team” narratives erase human costs.
3) Donate to humanitarian relief
If you can give, prioritize organizations delivering medical care, food, and essential supplies. Consider monthly donations if you want sustained impact.

- Research these donations to your own accord. These were the most up to date public donations I could find, so please be sure to see where your donations are being allocated to.
- Confirm the URL is official.
- Check whether donations are restricted to a region/program or can be reallocated.
- Save your receipt.
4) Build the world you want nearby
Mutual aid, community fridges, refugee support groups, and anti-hate organizations matter here too. Real solidarity shows up for your neighbors while you fight for people far away.
